That overwhelming tranquility of watching metal knot under the rumbling skies. Add to it the smell of rotting iron and the impending rain, and I wished I was a triped

He said to me, “You should probably crop the man and his derriere out of MY frame. It’s ruining the composition. The nice texture I have on my fur now *whimper*..I’m giving you your favorite sad puppy expression. *whimper* *whimper*”

I thought for a while and shot back with my favorite one-liner excuse for a leave of absence, “Severe cold and headache. Sorry. Not today.”

Me: “How about a small role in Men in Black 4, though ?”

He: * wags his tail *

Stupid dog. Little does he know that I’m just a codie.

Plastic flowers

A view from Mandarin at Indira Nagar, Bangalore.
My acrophobia dissipated against this flowery view. Next time I do walk-on-the-wire stunt I’ll carry flowers with me.

The kite that keeps circling the terrace that I keep hanging around on. I don’t think either of us will stop. And thank heavens for the “Continuous shooting” mode was enabled.

Paradigm shift

image

A group of us had lodged ourselves into a blissful aftermath that follows after crunching down on pani poori and vada pav. We watched how the pedestrians were painstakingly navigating around the dal careful of the oncoming traffic as if it were dirt. That is when this woman walks across and sweeps whatever she could into a plastic bag with her bare hands.

Getting back

All I need right now is some amber. The nights in Kerala are sweating off the noon heat, making the nights a feast-time for the mosquitoes and no one else. From Thrissur, I had been straining my neck for signs of my hometown through the bus window but all I could see was the yellow-black border of a flyover. Then another flyover and then yet another one. It took the govt. 7 years but they finally got it done and my town is no more a cordoned-off construction site.

At last a picture of my not-so-happy feet

The only thing that could have, might have made things better would have been riding Liz down here. The cool breeze will have to wait and more stunned expressions (on hearing the autorickshaw fare quoted with a poker face) are yet to come.

Tomorrow will find me cramped in the last seat of a gypsy bus to Bangalore. I hope that I have straight people beside me and that this WordPress-Android app gets me back to blogging. Live blogging a bus journey doesn’t sound like a bad idea as much as blind faith does.

I love this theme.

Had not seen Reservoir Dogs till today morning. Have not seen Death Proof than the hip-skip-n-hop way.Don’t hate me.

After the 12th time and 33 minutesĀ  of asking the wise guy beside me to push the url into a variable and print it, he has. The error has been found, the script shall run. Adrenaline rush has been postponed to another day, a certain white man will be happy today.

Hmmm.
